Grant WriteShop: A two-day hands-on workshop on grant writing for beginners
Date: 7-8 October, 2021
Venue: Faculty of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences Conference Room, Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Kumasi, Ghana.
This practical grant writing course is one of two that will be run in 2021 for persons wishing to improve their grant writing. We will cover how to write effective grant proposals, how to develop ideas into winning proposals, identify potential funders and understand the full proposal development, submission and review process.
Who can apply?
The aim of the course is to develop your writing skills and enhance your manuscript review abilities. MSc, MPhil and PhD students in the sciences are all welcome to attend. Limited spaces are available. Successful candidates will be selected based on these criteria:
- Participants must be MSc, MPhil, and PhD students. A range of experience levels in writing is preferred but not required.
- Demonstrable benefit to research or teaching in your institution or department
- Strong relevance to your current or planned research or teaching area
- Immediate application of the techniques learnt
