GhYA announces winners for the 2021 Two-Minute Thesis Competition


Our maiden Two-Minute Thesis Competition (2-MT) came to a successful close with three of our finalists emerging winners.

First prize of GHC 3,000 was taken by Joshua Allotei Allotey from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology. His research is on ‘Handling practices and impact of post-harvest losses in Ghana – Fruit and vegetable vendors in perspective’. Ali Eliasu from the University of Energy and Natural Resources came in second and received GHC 2,000. His research is on Gasification from municipal solid waste. Third place was taken by Molly Kukua Abban from University of Ghana. Her research is on antimicrobial resistance.
